DESCRIPTION:Please join the Emergency Management Department on Thursday\, April 14th (9am – 12pm Pacific) for the City of Los Angeles Tsunami Seminar\, part of the 2022 Progressive Exercise Series.\n\nAlong with County\, State and Federal partners\, the session will explore communication\, coordination and evacuation procedures for rapid notification and response of City departments\, stakeholders\, and the public in the event of a tsunami-related emergency.\n\nUsing the Tsunami Annex as a guide\, the purpose of this seminar is to convey how LA City will work with external agencies to respond to significant incidents involving a local or distant tsunami that would exceed the scope of incidents managed at the field level.\n\nRegister for the tsunami webinar here.
