Outreach Committee
The Palms Neighborhood Council Outreach Committee’s Vision is to support the people of the Palms Community with the information they need to be fully engaged in the local government. Our mission is The Palms Neighborhood Council Outreach Committee’s Mission is to create an inclusive, respectful, and productive environment where issues related to local governance can be shared. Our goals are
- Increase awareness of the Palms Neighborhood Council
- Increase community participation with the Neighborhood Council and its committees
- Be a reliable and consistent forum for information, education, discussion and advocacy for the community and the quality of life of its stakeholders.
- Educate and empower individual Palms stakeholders and develop a cohesive voice representing community input.
- Engage members of the Palms Community in the promotion and maintenance of Palms
Committee appointment is open to Palms stakeholders. Meetings are open to the public. The committee chair can be contacted at kay.hartman @palmsnc.la.

The committee meets at 7 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on the 2nd Monday of the month on Zoom.
