Volunteering

The following opportunities are available for those who wish to assist during the COVID-19 crisis.

Palms Neighbor to Neighbor

Palms is working with WestsideFriends.com to provide assistance to those at special risk for COVID-19. Click for more information.

Rapid Manufacturing

Do you have a 3D printer or other manufacturing, 3D modeling, engineering, or other applicable skills? All throughout Los Angeles, makers are helping to provide Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) to our medical professionals. Head over to CrashSpace.org (located on Venice in Palms) to see how you can help.

Do you own a small business with manufacturing capabilities? Head over to LAProtects.org to submit to volunteer to make essential protective gear (PPE).

Are you a sewer? You can help, too! Elder care facilities and others need cloth masks that are not medical grade. If you would like to make masks, go to LAFilmMaskMakers.com to connect with groups who are making masks and distributing them to those in need!

Red Cross Needs Blood Donors

If you are able and willing, the State of California is running short on blood. You can find out how to safely donate at redcrossblood.org.

VolunteerLA

Additional citywide volunteer opportunities can be found at the VolunterLA web site. You can also sign up to be informed of the latest volunteer needs around the city.
