Earth Day Tree Applications

Earth Day is not cancelled!  While we can’t host a neighborhood cleanup as originally planned, the Palms Neighborhood Council and the Green Committee are still committed to celebrating Earth Day and beautifying Palms.  LA Sanitation is offering a free street tree program.  Residents can sign up to have a tree planted for free in the parkway near their address, if they commit to watering the tree until it is established (about five years).  Visit their website www.lacitysan.org/freetree for details and to sign up.
